Topic tags/keywords: humor tip trick

and I don’t mean that in the pleasurable way.

Boys and Girls, I lashed out and bought a King sized bed, for that added comfort when I’m relegated to the dog house, along with the appropriate oversized manchester.

Now being a mere 4’ 15.5” tall, I have enough trouble touching my toes let alone reach across a 183 cm x 203 cm sized bed to put that bleeding oversized tent onto that also oversized doona.

If you know the California roll trick and by that I dont’t mean sliding down some 寿 司 (sushi) your throat, then don’t bother but if you find yourself in that dog house and have to struggle rigging out a kingly bed as much as I did, check out this rolly-polly video.

I tried to take a video myself but lost my bloody camera inside the roll. While you guys process this article I’ll set up a posse to go and search for that missing camera!

OK all very complicated.

So The Auzzie way.
hold the doona by two ears
Standing upright get inside the doona cover
Let it drop down and then grab the two corners of the cover as well
Let go of one end and get out now grab the remaning corner from the outside and then the alternative corner
Shake it all down, then do up the fasteners and drink a port to celebrate.

Why have you got such a large bed anyway? ...havent you heard of a camp strecher and sleeping bag!

Reminds me of my old Marist Brothers School days….

I did that on nigh (pun intended) 50 years…. However, upgrading from a double sized bed to a king size is like comparing a paper plane with one of those dicky softwared Boeing 737 MAXs.

Doing your method (and my original) in the king… I’d consume two 2L casks of port while still inside the doona.

PS. My original dog house had a single hammock and occassionally straw on the floor.

Oh yes Gosford Boys Home comes to mind
Scheeez Dont mention the 737 Max.
So whats the prob with 2L?
Otherwise call St Vinnies and get rid of it all, and then go to BCF and buy an inflatable bed and a emergency survival blanket.
Next thing you know you will have to buy a bigger washing machhine to launder them all

Hey Pottzy, how is my Easter Present coming along? ...and BTW you can never have too much vino.

Hey Alex, Looks like it was spam, its gone now. ... and BTW Good thing you got a bigger doona its getting like doona weather.

A bit of edcuation for you doona’s were originally made from feather down, which in some situations, a high quality duck down can be better than a mediocre goose down.
The moral of the story is stop looking for the camera as you may be adding to the problem by burying it in more down!

Dont forget a safety issue as well if it suddenly feels like its getting hotter in there, get out as its the bodys natural reaction to the lack of oxygen which as crazy as it is, is the sensation of getting warm.

..... you can never have too much vino…..
- robscastle

For once I leave myself open for debate on that subject rc... what if you had a glass of vino in one hand and a glass of vino in the other and you needed a leak, big time… do you put the vino down or produce that warm smile as if you were in a wetsuit!

.... in some situations, a high quality duck down….
- robscastle

Now you have the real reason for buying a king size. People keep trapping me in their double bed sized doonas for my precious down…. at least the king gives me more breathing room. Everyone keeps screaming around me… LET’S GET DOWN!

..... the lack of oxygen which as crazy as it is, is the sensation of getting warm.
- robscastle

So that’s the science behind a Dutch Oven... not that it heats up but more so oxygen deprived!

....ill stick with good goose down 0myself….
- pottz

Admit it pottzy, you just love to goose… so that’s not mascara around your eye(s)...

.... stop looking for the camera…..
- robscastle

Finally found the camera… totally freaked out when I saw a picture of a giant python under my doona…. After a couple of servings of those large glasses of vino and the down had settled, realised it was a picture of my night shirt,

Not quite… rather another way to hide the mistress!

Hey Pottzy where is my 5/8 HC sharpening cone? ...its almost Easter and no pressies yet!

BTW I see that bloody corelz125 has re appeared …. another secret Agent within LJs no doubt …does anybody know what that name is all about? I even hit up some of his buddies for an explaintion but they just ignored me. ... talk about bad manners.

I also have a concurrent activity going and that is also attempting to find out the situation with Nate Meadows he has gone AWOL on me!

Next he Nate and possibly the secret agent will appear as a wanted Poster on a blog by me as a last resort, I may even post a reward for any information leading to the identification of the code name corelz125 at the same time!

Its nearly as annoying as not being able to sharpen my 5/8” HC .

Oh and BTW I saw that shirt in on of your video tutorials years ago and suggested you lose it, how come its still around and who is wearing it? ...its obviously not the LBD as they have boots on! ... possibly some derro from St Vinies thinking they had a “Guchi” shirt.

Wait there is more:

As for two glasses of wine and not needing any interuptions …just wear dark pants or jump in the spa ..ha ha

I’d like to say that it’s a picture of the missus posing with the nightie, however, its me as I wear those boots to bed just in case the missus fails to clip her toe nails… those boots help in keeping her talons at bay.
