Topic tags/keywords: drum sander extension table tables infeed outfeed jet supermax

I see they have fixed extension tables for the newer Jet 16-32 drum sander, and folding tables for other models. Does anyone know if there are folding tables for the newer Jet 16-32? Has anyone modified Supermax, Rockler, or other folding tables to fit? How did it work?

Thanks

I’ve got the Supermax (next size up). It’s on casters and I got the fixed extension tables as part of a package deal. I’ve never used them because they take up too much room in my shop and I have gotten by (so far) without them. I have thought a little about converting them into folding tables. They are certainly stiff enough.
I see the challenge is picking the correct pivot point and then getting them to lock solidly into place at the right height.
My project list has been too long and the need not sufficient for me to go any further than that.

Hey Steve,
I added 3” locking casters too, which was a helpful upgrade. I’m debating on buying the folding tables from Rockler / Woodcraft or Supermax and modifying them to fit. I’ve been told by company reps that they are not a direct bolt on for the JDW 16-32, but I don’t mind drilling a couple new holes. Just wondered if anyone had done it yet.
