I’ve discovered that my shop is some weird kind of time machine that must be accelerating time. I go down there, say, at 1:00 in the afternoon and spend what I figure is an hour or two. Yet, when I check my watch it says 6:30! Somehow, 3-1/2 hours have passed unaccounted for. Yet, when I come back upstairs I feel younger. See? Weird.

You posted this on 3/25. I was in the shop today and when I came in I was it the previous day. Amazing!

I have a time machine in my family room. I sit down in it, put on a NASCAR race, pull the handle and I am instantly transported 3 hours into the future!

That’s the way it works in my shop, unfortunately, it works just the opposite when I visit some of my in-laws.

ROFLMAO
If I take pleasurable foodstuffs into shop with me, the time machine accelerates faster and instead of losing an hour or two – I lose days, plus much less work is accomplished.
The alcohol also counteracts the feeling younger part of shop time travel expereince, especially the next morning. :-0)
