Topic tags/keywords: magazine back issues

I have a lot of magazines I would like to pass on to those that are interested!
However, before I take the time counting and organizing by date I would like to know if anyone is interested.

In order of quantities from most to least:

  1. Shop Notes 1992 to 2016, way too many to count
  2. Woodsmith, 55 issues
  3. Wood, 33 issues
  4. Woodworkers Journal, 20 issues
  5. Woodcraft, 5 issues

I did this once before and all I ask is shipping charges!
Let me know what you are looking for and I will see if that/those issues are available.
I would rather do this than recycle!

Hey Hans!

I’m interested in the Shop Notes and Woodsmith editions. I’ve been subscribed to Woodsmith for a couple of years, so older than that would be better for me, but will take them all off your hands if you just want them out.

I hope you and yours are fairing well. My best to all of you.

Paul

Paul,

I will see which issues of those I have and PM you! Give me a few days as there are quite a number of Shop Notes.

We are doing as well as could be expected. We still have moments that cause both of us some anguish but I suppose that’s normal.

My enthusiasm for getting back to woodworking has not recovered but I am sure it will come back eventually.

I understand. It takes time, as much as time passing can ever help. One day at a time.

I haven’t any Shop Notes, so I’ll take all of them. It’s the Woodsmith magazine I have the past couple of years of. But as I said before, I’ll take all of those, too, if you just want to make it easy on yourself and get rid of them at once.

Thanks!

I’d be interested in the Woodsmith and Shop Notes magazines as well. Let me know what might be left after Paul.

Thanks and my condolences on your loss.

Hans is great! I got several years of WOOD from Hans to complete my earlier collection several years ago.
NOTHING LIKE PERFECTION!

Hey Hans, I still remember and appreciate what you have done for me in the past! PAY ATTENTION FOLKS, this could last you a lifetime… Just sayin’...

BTW, already have ShopNotes, Woodsmith, etc. but if you can, IMO, this is much better than the invisible, easy delete-able, digital stuff, etc. Just my opinion…

Thanks Hans!
HorizontalMike

FWIW, my issues of #1-60 of SHOP NOTES is priceless!... Just sayin’! ;-)

Thanks for the kind words Mike. I know that you appreciated the magazines.
Because of life events I am having a hard time getting back into my shop much less reading a magazine!

The only issues left are Woodworkers Journal, 20 issues, the rest have all found new homes!

I take my old magazines to doctor’s visits and leave them in the waiting room. It’s a surprise how quickly they disappear. Sure beats reading 5 year old copies of Sports Illustrated or U.S. News and World Report.

MrRon, it is also better than People and Good Housekeeping.
