Topic tags/keywords: lathe comet ii nova

I finally stepped up to the Laguna Revo 24/36 and have an extra lathe laying about.

It’s just over a year old and was used for my buffing station for the last 6 months. Nova Comet II runs great.
Comes as pictured, I’ll even throw in the stand it’s on if you are local.

$375 as is.

Shipping at your cost and arrangement.

Local pick up in Frisco, TX

PS sorry about the pic being sideways but I am done correcting the issue for this site.

And it is a steal of a deal.

For those not familiar with the Nova Comet II here’s a copy of the features.

FEATURES:
Powerful Electronic Variable Speed Motor
250 rpm to 4000 RPM
Perfect choice for a variety of projects from pens to bowls.

Forward and Reversing Switch
Offers additional flexibility and allows you to achieve a superior finish.

12″ Swing Capacity over bed and 16.5″ between centers.
Extendable with bed extension accessory.

3 Step Pulley System
Offers different speed ranges while providing maximum flexibility.
The middle step usually provides enough range for most woodturning applications.
However, the additional 2-steps provide more torque for more demanding applications.

Did you sell it yet? I’d be interested if you could help me with the shipping (I’ll pay costs but wouldn’t know where to start otherwise!)

I have not sold it yet, but i’d have no clue on freight shipping an item. I don’t think it could go UPS or Fed Ex

If you are using a phone to take pictures just hold it horizontally (wide/sideways/landscape) and they will orient properly every time. Industry standard nowadays is 16:9 aspect ratio which is wide screen. Not really a site issue.

Andy thanks that is a pic horizontally and it’s an issue with the Iphones and it’s only this site.
