I was disappointed to learn today while listening that the Wood Talk podcast is ending I guess I’d be tired of it, too, after 450+ episodes over 10 years. There are a lot of new woodworking podcasts that have come out recently, but Wood Talk had a great combination of host chemistry and real woodworking talk. Bummer

I agree. Sad to see it go, but I completely understand.

Admittedly, I haven’t listened in quite a while. I got busy and it wasn’t the same without Old Matt.

I quit all the woodworking podcasts except for Fine Woodworking. Most of them seem to be more about the personalities and what they were doing generally than about woodworking. I can see how that would appeal to some if you keep up with those people but not my cup of tea. FWW podcast has become more beginner oriented which isn’t very interesting to me so I’m about 8 episodes or so behind. Someone asks a simple question that could be answered in a minute and they discuss it for 10 minutes getting farther from the answer the longer they discuss it.
