Doing a little Facebook marketplace browsing and came upon this ad for a Mall Saw, model P120A

Just thought I’d post it here for others to see. I don’t have any intention of buying it, but the thought of an air powered circular saw is intriguing. Trying to imagine when it would be helpful/practical…

it is intriguing. im wondering if it was used for cutting concrete,marble,stone,etc

I may be mistaken, but I believe they were used in underwater work, like for pier construction and demolition.

Upon further checking, I’m more inclined to believe it was used in mines and other places where explosion proof tools are necessary.

My guess is that would require a significant air source—not your typical home compressor.
