Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket batteries for the Ryobi One+ tools.

I haven’t had any issues with my current OEM batteries, but am looking to pick up a couple extras and see many choices available.

I bought the 2 pack when they were on sale at Christmas. Normally $99 on sale for $59 I think. Anyhow, the two original batteries were still working (and still are 7 years later)so I only put one to use immediately. It’s doing fine going on 4 years now. The other I put in a drawer and it sat for about 2 years. Well, one day I got it out and charged it. It charged but it only lasted about 1/2 of what the other did. I thought maybe it didn’t fully charge. Since then that battery that sat never did last as long as it should have. Within the last month or so, it will no longer take a charge, deader’n a door nail. My advice, if you buy new batteries, put them to use immediately.

I bought these about a year and a half ago: Energup 2Pack 4000mAh 18V Replacement Battery for Ryobi 18V Lithium Battery P102 P103 P105 P107 P108 P109 Ryobi ONE+ Cordless Tool Ryobi 18v battery https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X1F8P5N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9A7uCbG8083JH

They work well. They don’t last quite as long as the OEM ones, but it’s very close. The only time the shorter runtime comes into play is when I have one of them on my trimmer, but that’s the whole reason I have extras in the first place.

Thanks for the info. They seem reasonable for some backups.
