I am looking to purchase the Delta 36-725 table saw at Lowe's and was wondering if anyone has seen it on sale at all?
It's at full price $599 right now and I will be using a 10% off coupon as well as gift cards I bought at a discount. But I wanted to see if I should maybe wait a bit if people have seen it go for a lower price.
If not then I might just go buy it full price this weekend and use the coupon, etc.
The 36-725 was on sale when I got it almost 5 years ago and have never seen it on sale since. Also I've never been able to get lowes to stack a store coupon on top the 5% lowes credit card discount.
Lowes also runs an 11% rebate every now and again, though they don't advertise it like Menards much of the time. They just finished one that ran from January 20-26. I can get a bit of advance notice on them sometimes by Google searching Lowes 11% rebate. It turns up the PDF form you submit to get the rebate which has the dates on it.

When I purchased the 36-725 round about 2013 it was $549 and I used the 10% moving coupon and got it for under $500. I believe it was a year or so later when it went to $599.

you do know some Lowes take the harbour freight coupon for 25% off but you have to check with each store manager some do and some dont :<))))) OR :<(((((
The 11% Lowes rebate is only available in limited states and stores. I've never seen it offered in Virginia. The rebate is a Lowes gift card, not cash back.

If you combine the 10% moving coupon (check eBay) and the 11% rebate the price is around $480. I almost bought one during their rebate last month.
thanks for this info!!!! i have a menards right down the road from me and they are running their 11% rebate this week. but i just got off the phone with Lowes Corporate and they said they are not matching this menards rebate for some reason. they did say the 2 rebates that had in January was because of Menards though so im not sure why they are not matching this one. i will just have to wait and hope lowes will match it soon this month or next.

Just wanted to update this as i purchased the delta saw yesterday! I ended up using the 10% movers coupon which brought it down to $539. and then I was able to find Lowes gift cards at 10% off on ebay which really knocked the table saw down to $485. and this week lowes is having their 11% rebate which i just submitted for, which means i should get a $59 gift card. So i pretty much was able to get the saw for $426 in theory.
Lowe's philosophy- we are selling everything at the lowest price possible, and they are. It's very expensive to operate what use to be an outside lumber yard in the weather, inside. And they have economists that know exactly how much it takes to keep it all afloat. About the only time you catch a nice deal is when a replacement model comes in or when inventory finds old stuff in top stock. They aren't making a big profit off you, that's why they can't offer a big discount to you. If they could, they would. 5% won't cover the sales tax, but it helps. Today, every little bit helps.
