The rings slipped a bit while clamping, it’s a little off center, kinda like me! Fun project, a lot of end grains, good for honing my sharpening skills. About 16” diameter. Loving my new Laguna, saving up for outboard turning add on . Probably be a while.

Hey Walrus
You shouldn’t apologize for anything. The work is great, your photography is also great, and your selection of equipment is likewise. I am waiting for delivery of my new Laguna. A friend of mine says he runs the headstock to the right side and removes the tailstock and turns large diameter pieces. He says no need for the optional add ons.

Mike, thanks for the kind words, I would be interested in what your friend uses for tool support without using the bed extension/outboard turning kit.
