Hi all, since a lot of wood workers (like myself) are interested in timberframing, I thought I’d let folks know I’m starting to build a timberframed woodworking shop and am hoping to video document it. The first two videos are up if anyone’s interested!

I think this might be better presented as a Blog?

Interesting in any case.

Looks like it is going to be an amazing shop. I’m on my second new shop in 8 years so I don’t think it is in the cards for me to build another one, but if I had the resources to do it again, I’d definitely have a timber frame building.

I’m really excited about getting into this thing and having more space to work but aside from that, I think a timber frame really seems “right” for a woodworking shop!

I’m hoping that this little video series helps people feel more confident that they can do it themselves.

Right now I’m editing a video on the different types of layout systems, and trying to demonstrate mine, and I’ve had to reshoot a couple of things….it’s a tough subject to capture.

Thanks for the comment,

B
