Normally I wouldn’t care for something like this, but between the high price, high vibration (see this review: Best Oscillating Tool Review and Shootout ) and blade incompatibility, combined with what for me will be relatively infrequent usage, I’m considering trying to use the plunge base attachment on another (TBD) oscillating tool.

I suspect it won’t fit without modifications. I may end up having to build my own jig in the end. But, I thought I’d ask here first. In case you don’t know what this is, here’s a link: Vecturo Plunge Base There have been times when something like this would have been handy for me, instead of using a plunge router and cleaning up corners with a chisel. The especially nice feature is that the base has rare earth magnets in it to stabilize the blade.

Anyway, if anyone has used this thing and would give me some dimensions I could see what it might take to fit on different oscillating tools that cost less and use standard blades.
