My Laguna 14BX has arrived but the mobility kit hasn’t yet. I want to set it up but I don’t want to lay it down when the mobility kit arrives. Can I install it when the saw is standing up?

Yes. I installed the mobile base on my 14bx with it upright. I raised the base off the floor with scrap wood and installed the kit.

Hey, another question if you don’t mind, Sawdust.
I set everything up with one exception. While the table is perfectly square to the blade on the left and right side of the blade, it’s tilted backward .2 degrees (so it’s 89.8 instead of 90). I saw some instructions on page 50 in the manual on how to fix it but it seem really complicated.
Do you know a better way of squaring the table to the back of the blade?

I think what page 50 describes is the easiest way to correct your issue. If you need to shim something use the sides of a beer/soda can. I had to read page 50 a few times, but it sounds like once this is adjusted it should ok for a long time.

Have your say...
