Router lift dropped and ruined a stile that was matched to the other three stiles in a project.

Made a new stile from another board. .015 too thin after milling. Grrr.

Made a new stile, but fed wrong end briefly when doing the joinery:

Going to punt and not make the stile again. Patched:

Is at the bottom back of a piece and will be filled and finished. Should disappear. Not perfect, but like the story of the drunk raccoon hunter in the tree with the mountain lion, “one of us has got to have some relief!”

Honestly, no matter how I plan, mark and stage work, without fail I will do a bone headed thing now and then.
