dbw, where do you live? I’m I’m in South Carolina. I’ve had some fleeting thoughts about selling my straight-knife A3-31 and buying one of Hammer’s “Silent Power” spiral cutterhead models.

I have an A3-31 that I’m thinking about selling….
I’m in Washington, DC.

Bought it from Felder USA in December 2016, delivered probably January 2017.
220v, with the following options:
helical cutters
Both table extensions
“digital” handwheel
Rolling carriage with handbar (I.e., mobile base)

It’s in like-new condition, as I’ve hardly used it. I have all of the documentation and paperwork for it, and would be happy to send pictures if you’re interested.

Hey Flatsixdc,
How much do you want for your Hammer A3 31 and how do you handle shipping?

Hey dbw, I probably should have thought about it a bit more before my post. I’m trying to make more room in my basement shop, and based on frequency of use plus space occupied, I should really get rid of my Sawstop first. I think I’m going to hold on to my J/P for now. But if I were to sell it, I’d ask $4k.

FYI, there’s an A3-31 for sale on sawmill Creek right now.

What is the reason you want to get rid of your SS? Which one do you have?

BTW the Hammer which is listed on Sawmill is also listed on ebay.

Well, I don’t want to get rid of anything, but my basement shop is too crowded. It’s a PCS 3HP, 36” glide fence, 220V, with the out feed table and floating dust collection arm. It’s about a year old.

I’m going to try to sell the saw locally first. If that doesn’t work, I’ll post it. Thanks for your interest!

Let me know if/when you decide to sell the Hammer A31. I’m local to the DC area.

Thanks for the info. I decided I’m going to hold out for a Hammer with spiral cutters.

A little late – not sure this is still active.
I have an A3-41 with spiral cutter and other upgrades on a mobile base I am looking at selling.
Awesome machine – just too big for my space/needs.
Am in North Carolina
Thanks
