I’ve done a few wall hardwood installations and I keep using a giant bulky flooring nailer. What are you guys using to nail down hardwood on walls? I can’t imagine everyone is lugging the giant flooring nailer around! I’m looking for a power tool to do it btw.

Are you face nailing or nailing in the groove opposite the tongue? I believe some 15ga angle nail guns have a slight enough tip on the guide.body to place.and sink a nail deep enough to hold the wood securely while allowing the tongue to fully seat into the groove and they’re all way lighter than any traditional cleat nailer.

Can you recommend one specifically? I’m nailing into the grooves.
