Topic tags/keywords: murphy hidden bed folding question

So I built a murphy bed following what I saw some do on youtube and I used a boat swivel for the place where the bed meets the frame. Has anybody else done this? I’m wondering because I had one heck of a time getting the bolts in each side as I assembled. If anyone has any thoughts or experiences with this kind of thing please say so. Also, if you have used anything else besides a boat swivel for the joint, please tell me!

thanks

I built a Queen size that flips down where the cabinet is the headboard.
I used a kit made by Hafelle, that I got from CSH. But it looks like CSH isn’t carrying Hafelle mechanizms.. but it is this one
