In 2018, I built a Maloof style rocker and was the most difficult project that I have done. There were times that I wondered if I would get it done. But, I got it done and enjoyed it.

For 2019, I am starting to look at projects which are a challenge. At the top of my list is a truck model like those others have done. It will be a real challenge to come close to the craftsmanship of models posted this year.

What projects do others have in mind for the year that will challenge your skills.

I’m almost done with this desk which has challenged & tested me off & on this year. This chair was given to me and is being repainted and recovered to match.

I have already bought a book on Philadelphia ball & claw chairs and I intend to make one with a another desk from either maple or antique heart pine
