Beautiful wood. I am enjoying following the bandsaw mill build as well. However, this is pushing the envelope a bit too much on using the LumberJocks site to promote a business. Just my opinion. Others may differ.

I understand what you mean but in this case it really is not his business. He just has A LOT of it and thought that lj members could use it. They are what the mill calls “B” grade for luthiers so the guy at the mill basically gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse that he is passing on but it’s enough to last him a lifetime. It really is nice stuff.

I wish it was 8/4 so I could bookmatch for a bass :(

People buy, sell, and trade stuff all the time. If this isn’t the place for it then I don’t know what is.

I agree it is beautiful. The first offering was great, the second as well. Now the third comes with a discount for frequent buyers. That is what sounds like a business proposition to me. He is not just “passing it on”.

Understood and don’t want to belabor the point. He’s just a friend and I know his intention is to get rid of the wood that his wife says is taking over the house so the discount is an effort to do that. When he first got it we both thought lj’ers would want it. But I do understand what you’re saying. We don’t seem to have a “classified” section.

Scott, maybe you need to become “Scott Prime” and offer free 2 day shipping. :-)

Stand by. He’s just slicing it into 1/4” from milled stock so I bet there is 8/4 to be had.

Scott prime is good

I’ll triple down for that.

Seriously if packs are still left, sending Scott a PM.

I am a new member here so I can not private message until I have a few more post. That is very nice looking maple and I would like to buy one bundle shipped to my home in Raleigh, North Carolina. If you could send me a message with your address and a total amount I will get a check sent to you. Thanks for making this possible
