Topic tags/keywords: question tip

Hello all, this is my first time posting anything. I got some Kentucky coffee tree wood. Anyone have some tips or pointers for me? Thinking about making a kitchen table. I have never worked with it.

Coffeetree works very similar to ash, in my limited experience. Nothing really special about how to work it—as long as you pay attention to grain direction, it cuts and planes nicely. Very coarse, open grain that will need filled if you want a smooth finish.
