no10 5/8" round moulding plane question

I’ve recently acquired a pair of Mathieson no 10 hollow and round moulding planes.
After sharpening and inserting the irons I noticed that the sole on the front of the hollow plane was approx 0.5mm higher than the sole at the rear. Is this normal or should I reshape the sole to be in line.

Inline would be my vote. Can’t think of a single reason why it should be like that.

That was my thought too. Just wasn’t sure if it was made that way, altered by previous owners or just worn like that.
