Topic tags/keywords: humor question

I wanted to post my latest project to gather some ideas for the finish I should use. It’s a joint venture project to which my wife has actually contributed a lot.

It took us nearly nine months (until last Friday) to complete and now we are uncertain how to finish it.

We’ve tried all kinds of oils and water based solutions but the surface is still somewhat “raw”. All finishes applied so far seem to be sucked up quickly. This has led to dried out areas around the feet and face (side). At the bottom it’s always a bit wet and seems to leak a golden fluid of uncertain origin.

What I like best is the organic shape and the flowing curves (really curvy around the legs with extremely long feet as I find). It seems to smile sometimes.

Any comments on the best finish to bring out the natural beauty are welcome.

Here’s a picture to give you an impression of our creation!

Your child will always be a work in progress even to the very last day. I pray that your child will have a wonderful life that is full of love and hope. God bless you and yours.

great project

some of them never seem to be finished
it’s like they take on a life of their own

they will whisper their needs
if you don’t listen
they will SCREAM them

and welcome to LJ’s

My youngest is 38 and not finished yet. But, then, being in my 60’s, I’m not so sure just how finished I am either.
You got a beauty there. Keep up the good work

Finish it with a diaper. That will take care of the “fluids of uncertain origin.”

Congrats on your most significant project!

Thanks a lot for the compliments and nice words. She is such a lovely girl, she’ll even let me surf the internet while lying on my belly with a smile on her face.

@sarahss – My wife said the mailman kept the plans :-)

@Cosmicsniper – I’ll try that diaper trick you suggest. I trust my teacher colleagues.

I’d use a equal mix of love, patience and discipline buffed with care and fun and more love. She is beautiful!
