Topic tags/keywords: dogs dog shop dog humor i just updated my avatar with my not so new shop dog sedona, our previous beagle brandy sadly passed from a stroke about a year and a half ago so i thought it was time to introduce the newest member of the family, also a small bred beagle.so i started thinking about what other lumber jocks have for shop dogs,as many have them proudly hosting the avatar position.so let us know what you have either past, present or future.im curious to see what every bodies shop helper is.maybe we have some shop cats out there? -- working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF. |

Not yet Pottz but when I stop travelling I will get a dog but definitely not a cat. -- Grumpy - "Always look on the bright side of life"- Monty Python |

Always major sorrow when a loved pet passes. One of the reasons I chose not to have one… and I hate stepping in dog shit! Does the missus barking to me… go to the shop, dog… qualify? Nice looking dog. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your last shop helper. I know a new dog doesn’t replace a lost one, but they definitely have a way of enriching your life. |

My shop dog passed 15 years ago. He would follow me anywhere and especially liked the shop. He would lay there and get covered with saw dust. He acted like it was his quiet time and would take a nap. Until we came upstairs and the wife would see all the sawdust, then we both ran. -- Dave, Downers Grove, Il. -------- When you run out of ideas, start building your dreams. |

Sorry pottz, I can’t help you with this one….My wife and I’ve been married 42 years, and we’ve never owned an animal of any kind…..No dogs, and we hate cats….Had a wild squirrel to get in the house once, but I opened the door and it went bouncing out…..He came down the chimney……!! -- " There's a better way.....find it"......
