My son is a Sargent in the Army and my 89 year old dad will always be a Marine.
Here’s a clock plate I carved for him on a recent Stars and Stripes Honor Flight I escorted him on.
Carved from high-density urethane EZboard, EZcarving.com
Thanks Dad and Paul!

It’s a rather mixed day for me this year. I heard several of the people I served with have passed or aren’t doing well. It’s probably a good thing that I get Monday off.

Every time I see children enjoying themselves I am reminded of why I spent 23 years in uniform. I come from a family who are mostly military veterans. Many of them are retired military who went on to serve their country in various other ways. I am proud of my wife, son, brothers and uncles who gave time to insure the future for the children of AMERICA, and our friend nations.
