New jock, first post, need help.
How do I mount my new Bosch 1617 router to a craftsman 171-255340 table? Bosch helpline said “ask craftsman ”. Craftsman has sent me nothing but ads.
Anyone know how to find the right adapter?
Thx , mike

Welcome to LumberJocks Mike.
The folks here are a great resource.
Pictures of your issue are always helpful.
I assume that there are mounting holes in the top of the router table?
Have you removed the plastic base plate off the router?

My set up is slightly different than yours (Porter Cable) but once I removed the base plate off the router I was able to match up the holes with the holes in the base plate with the holes in the router table top.

Mine had a few different patterns so that different makes of routers could be used.

I was not able to use the screws that came off the router. They were too short.
A quick trip to the hardware store fixed that problem.

I’m sure you already know this but slide the router out of the base when bolting it onto the table. It’s way easier that way.

I tried googling your set up and was able to find pictures of the router but not the exact table.

I hope some of this is helpful.
