Hello everyone,

I recently purchased 3 old Hargrave bar clamps. I was able to remove the rust and plan on using them. Any suggestions as to a finish? I plan on painting the moving components and not the bars. Is this a good way to proceed or should I put something on the bars too? Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

I always wax the bars on my clamps, it helps to keep glue from sticking.

Spray on a Dry Lube that has No Silicone. Just like a protective coating your table saw top and rub excess off.
