Hey all,

I can think of a few small ‘fix-its’ at the moment. Does it sound like a reasonable asking price? Offer $40? I’m thinking it might be good to have around the shop.

Thoughts?

yes – it IS a nice tool just to have in your tool arsenal !!!!
you need to ask the seller for the model number so you can
check around for similar model prices new and used.
if you go to check one out in person, take a 2×4 with you for testing.

I agree, nice to have one on hand. This is a tool that I went the Harbor Freight route and paid less than this buyer is asking.

That is a good buy. Take a look at the knives to see they need to be sharpened. I bought an old Craftsman one in Arizona at a flea market for $10 and I find it handy for leveling surfaces and it saves a lot of hand planing.

cheers, Jim

Thanks for the replies, all! I replied with a request for the model# so as to compare pricing as I normally do. Waiting on that now. Hopefully, it’s not another CL listing left up for days after the item is sold!
