I saw that 2×4 just last week. Surprisingly enough it was right on top of the stack. You would have thought they would hide a treasure like that, way down in the pile.

To it’s credit, it was pointing directly at a large wet spot on the floor. I bought it to try to witch a new well.

That’s why I don’t build anything out of 2×4’s…..I don’t like working with crooked wood…!! I’ve never seen a 2 by that I liked…..:)

I used to work for an independent lumberyard. Regardless of where we sourced from some of the stock was always warped and some was quite nice. It has a lot to do with curing processes used and correct stacking too.
