I found an oliver 232 D table saw for $900 without fence and miter gauges. Assuming all is in working order do you think this is a fair price? 3hp 3 phase.

Look over some of the dedicated sites for info, but if you plan on using it you will need some form of a fence and if you don’t all ready have it, a source of 3ph power. These all add to the final cost, sometimes significantly.

It is probably overpriced if you consider you will need a source of 3ph power, fence and miter gage. Off course you could get a phase inverter ($$$) or replace the motor with a single phase one, ($$$). Oliver is a great machine, but unless you have 3ph power, this is not a bargain.

You may want to check out this video. Based on what I saw, it is not a good saw for home use. It takes 12/14” blades and check out that terrific fence system. Unless you can find that fence and a miter gage on E-bay and have 3ph power, I wouldn’t buy it.
