To be honest, it could use some stain and two coats of poly.

Handy guy. I found it entertaining, he was hand holding most of the cuts, and just whacking pieces off, yet on each piece he very carefully drew a straight line for the cut using his trusty square. Just seemed for someone so out of the box when it came to cutting he didn’t have much vision where straight occurred.

When he zapped the sides off the back, they came out very close to triangular just off his eye, just made me wonder how fast he would be, if he trusted his eye more.

Hopefully everyone takes this vid for what it is….just cool.

I’d bet that chair hung out on the job site for the entire build for all the rest of the trades to use.

Hell….I’d build one on every single site, just so all the other trades knew who framed the house! Signature chair…

Steve, I think he definitely could have done better with just his eye. He seems to be one of those people that has been doing this so long he can eyeball things really well.

Tony, I just thought it was great that he made a video about how you can make something quickly when you need it. It even came out not too bad looking. It looks at least as good as some of the Muskoka/Andirondack chairs I’ve seen people spend hours on.

I suspect there was more preliminary design work going on than what the video is leading us to believe.

Well….that didn’t take long.
