Thanks for posting that, I hadn’t seen that article. I do wish they have said where the location of the hunt was.

To answer you question no.

We have had a very active bear season this in the valley where I live. Even had a neighbor mauled to death and a searcher sent to the hospital a mile down the road from me.

Makes me feel better knowing that the worst we have around here are black bears.

Yes, they come to my place every summer. in fact I “bear sprayed ” 2 of them this year. I’ve got some bear pictures I’ll post here a little bit later.

This summer there were 34 problem bears put down in Anchorage alone.
