WS2000 users: Should I jump on this?

I happened to be waiting in line at a hardware store last night and saw a WS2000 for $50 and thought that is a pretty good deal. What do you think should I jump on this?

I saw this at a woodworker show a couple of years ago and remember thinking it was pretty neat. I got a couple of granite slabs soon there after and have been using the scary sharp method.
