Here is a saw horse design I plagiarized from Sunset magazine many years ago. I have made many of these in different sizes and heights. They are a bit more involved to build due to the canted legs and bevels involved. I wanted them to be strong, but light weight and that they are. The wide top is useful for setting a miter saw upon. I have stacked (6)-3/4” sheets of plywood on them and they hold. Dimensions are up to you.
