I have restored a Delta/Rockwell model 9 contractors saw. I really like the saw. I hate the fence!

I can measure and cajole the fence into accuracy but it’s annoying.

I don’t want to stick a bunch of money into the saw but would like to improve the fence.

It’s not the deluxe cam lock one it’s the one with the star knob to tighten it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

A new fence would be min of $200 I would think unless you can find a quality used one if you go that route. Just something to think about.

Yeah, this is the table saw I use at the house in the carport. I paid $50 for it and spent about 3 hours cleaning it and replacing the belt and one pulley that was cracked.

I really don’t want to invest more than another $150.

I didn’t know if there was a way to get this fence to be more accurate or if anyone had one of the cam lock fences that fit this model laying around.
