Topic tags/keywords: joining finishing question resource humor

Does anyone here live in Northern Virginia and willing to share their knowledge and skills? I’ve always had an interest in woodworking and never got formal training. I’m limited to making simple things like plaques and cornhole boards really. But I want to learn about making bigger projects like chests and making joints without fasteners like dove tail cuts. I’m truly raw looking for some refining.

John, I suggest you join the woodworker’s guild that meets the first Saturday of each month at 3:30pm in Hardwoods in the Rough located in Manassas. Another option is to search YouTube for anything you want to attempt. There are probably a bazillion vids about cutting DTs. HTH
