Yesterday I set a new record for my shop. I completed a bookshelf. It can out very nice. I used a matte waterbased
Pu on it. It kind of has that oil rubbed finish look to it.
Now to where I set the record.
My son came in the room and said” wow dad that’s really nice. I didn’t know you were building a bookshelf “
That’s when I told him I had been working on it a long time. He said really. When did you start that?
I told him I had started it when he was born.
He’s going to be 22 years old in January.

Now that’s stretching out a project

You just wanted to make sure everything was perfect. But then, you could fib and say you did the complete project blindfolded. LOL.

Think I bought the Cedar for my Canoe in 1993-4? Still sitting on a shelf!

My Dad took apart a Jeep in 1974, we hauled that thing from NY to Ga in 1979. He finally sold the pieces in 2008.

Never got it back together and still finds boxes or bins with hardware for it.
