A little more information would be nice, like the age of the saw and maybe a picture and the price.

It was a 28-640 as for age, wasn’t sure, never heard back from seller, and it looks like its gone, was up for 400, but a couple hours away from me, hence the hesitation to purchase, ugh. tried to find out some info on webs, but it was sketchy not having absolute info, took me a while to find a picture of it.

thanks to all w ho chimed in

Well now it popped back up for sale, so Im a gonna drive out to Wickenburg, az, and get a look, chatted with the old boy, he used it in his boat yard when in oregon, looks to be in decent shape, and for 400 samolians, might be ok, either way, there is a great joint in up wickenburg way to have lunch, a win win, as far as i’m concerned.

happy sunday

My buddy had one. Solid saw. Worth 400 in working shape.

yep, its a 28-651, found a local joint to make me some blades, they will be ready in a few days, I put some casters on it to move it around, dang thing weights at least 400 plus pounds, took four of us to get out of truck, whew,
bought a new service cord and installed, it is 220 v so had to change out the plug anyway to fit my plugs for other machines. have a few minor adjustments and gonna put it on its maiden cut tonite, when it cools off.

happy monday, i’m still smiling
