I had Porter Cable router pads for years and now they’re unavailable from what I can tell. Amazon link for a box of 10: https://www.amazon.com/PORTER-CABLE-39993-10-Routing-Sanding-Holding/dp/B00005JGDD/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

The rocker pad left an oily residue on the wood when I used that one—even after cleaning.

Does anyone have a replacement they like? The carpet pad suggestion didn’t work well for me – maybe it was the pad I have.

There are still places you can get them. Check Peachtree Woodworking, maybe Woodworker’s Supply. I know they are still out there. I bought some last winter but don’t remember where specifically.
