Topic tags/keywords: table repair stain liquid question finishing refurbishing sanding traditional

Good morning LJs,

I hope you are all doing well. I am seeking your expertise in the repair and refinishing of a table top. The other day I had a friend ask me for advice on how to repair the table. I told her I did not know, but that I would reach out to the experts at LJ.

I was told there had been placemats on the table and liquid had spilled and been left under them, which caused stains (See the attached picture

)

Thank you all for your feedback and assistance.
