Topic tags/keywords: planer

I found this “large” (22” )neglected hand plane for sale in one of the online selling outlets, it was bundled with two other units, a Stanley/Bayley #4 and a 9 1/2” Corsair by Great Neck, all for $ 25.00, i found info for the Stanley and the Corsair but the “mistery one” have not any other markings, name or ID other than “Made In USA” in the front and “No 7” in the back.
Can somebody please help to identify this tool?

Look at the top of the iron…to see if a logo is stamped there.

Would need a look at the lateral lever….may be a Stanley made…..maybe a Sargent made?
