Hello,
I would like assistance from the group.
I have been asked to construct a rack to splay a quilt for a church raffle. The quilt will be about 84” by 72”. The folks want the quilt to hang vertically so people can see all of it. The rack will only be used for a few days each year. The display rack needs to be stable when set up, occupy the smallest amount of space possible and breakdown for storage.
I would appreciate any ideas or plans for this type of thing that you want to share.

O/P: ”The quilt will be about 84” by 72”.
The folks want the quilt to hang vertically so people can see all of it”.

The rack will only be used for a few days each year then stored away.

75” vertical frame: would a PVC frame be out of the question? easy snap together
and store when not in use. the pipe could be painted any color with Krylon plastic paint.
also – the metal EMT conduit is very rigid and has an assortment of connector parts
to make a nice frame – again – can be painted any color.
it would be free standing so that both sides can be seen.
there is quite an assortment of Quilt Hanger Frames as well as clips on the market.
