Nicely done piece. I do have some concerns regarding the design. Looking at the fourth picture down (and others), it looks like the span of the feet is narrower than the width of the cradle. If so, I wouldn’t want to get the cradle rocking too much for fear that everything might tip over. There is a lot of mass in the cradle portion. Add to that the mattress, the bed clothes, and the child and there is a good mass swinging in that bassinet. Picture four looks very bad to me.

Just my opinion.

Dear Kazooman, bad angled pictures, the feet are not narrower then width of the Bassinet. There is a locking pin for when rocking is not desired, I tested the rocking/swing action with 25lbs of weight in it. No issues. Bassinet looks and feels rock solid hope it becomes a family Heirloom. I am proud to say my Granddaughter has been sleeping in it the past seven weeks. I agree about Picture four and have updated photos on Lumberjocks. Thank you for the comments/concern about safety.
