I found this tool in a recent trash salvage expedition and i can not figure out what it is. Can anyone help?! Seems to be some kind of turning tool, i reckon.. thanks for any help!

It looks like some sort of seat reamer, (to me anyway)?....

It’s a plumbing tool for reaming/refacing faucet seats.

The one cone is on backwards. These came with a set of cutters, sized to fit the valve seat. A cone was secured to the top of the valve itself, to hold the cutter steady, while you reamed the new seat.

I also have one of those valve seat reamers….used to have the full set of cutters….now only have one. Wife’s Uncle was a plumber back in the day…..

I wonder if they make one for reaming politicians? I could really use it on a few of ours

No. There’s no such tool for reaming politicians. They’ve cornered the market and own the patent. Only the taxpayers get reamed. They may be dumb but they’re not stupid.
