I accidentally left some 2×4 cut offs outside and it was raining… It looked really cool and it had a vibrant bright look. You know what I mean right ??? I want to find a finish equivalent to that.
Do you know what finish or stain i could use to create it ?

When I’ve used Fornby’s tung oil on construction joicts that I’ve turned, the coloration and vibrance between dark and light grain approximates wet. It’s really impressive. I use 3 coats with 4 ought steel wool after each of the first 2 coats and have previously sanded the piece to P1000.
