In the midst of family and community activities, did you spend a couple of minutes thanking all of those who gave their lives so you could enjoy your freedom? Did you spend a few moments thanking the wisdom of the founding fathers as they formed our unique republic? Did you thank the first immigrates as they bravely landed in Virginia or Massachusetts? Or how about all the other immigrants who have made our country great like Bill Boeing, Tessla, Einstein, Goddard—the list goes on and on.

And did you spend a little time thanking your God for how He blessed and sustained our Country.

Perhaps you might share a little bit on how you celebrated the 4th. Thanks

-- All are foolish for at least five minutes each day. The secret is not to exceed the limit.

I sat down after a good supper and toasted to my comrades who did not come home. Afterward I gave thanks to God for sparing a few extra guardian angels to watch over me. They earned their wings.

Still carry this with me:
