Hi Everyone

I am seriously thinking about changing some of the aspects of my miter saw station because since I have been using it for a few years there are certainly features of it that I don’t like:

Right now the setup is basically 2 (36” wide canibets ) that I want to install drawers into… I have more power tools that can be stored in these drawers but I have never turned a cabinet (with a face frame) into cavities that will hold drawers

Just wondering if anyone has ever done that.

I also don’t like the cabinet tops as there are not very flush with the bed of my miter saw so I am thinking of making a platform that will also have drawers for hand tools

Just wondering if anyone has made this I would like to make something like the picture below and would appreciate some tips or projects that mimic this

The picture below is what I currently have

This is what I did with drawers and such.

Actual project with write up and more pictures are here: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/148362

Feel free to ask questions about details.
