Can I run on a 1/4 hp 10.2 amp motor (small concert mixer) with a #12 wire.

10-15 amps requires 12 gauge for 50-100’ extension cord.

I ran ours that way, but the cord was only 50’. No problems.

Yes, have done so, although I use as short of a cord as possible when using my mixer.
