Topic tags/keywords: general international lathe maxi-lathe vs pwm controller lathe

Hello All,

I have this lathe and had to replace the controller. Got it in the mail a few months ago, but haven’t been able to connect it yet due to lack of support (General International out of business now). If anyone here has this lathe it would be greatly appreciated if you could snap some pics of the wiring inside the lathe controller so i can set up my new one. My old controller did not have the forward/reverse switch, but the new one does. There are a lot more unconnected wires inside with unmatching connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If know anyone with electrical experience & meter to trouble shoot wires might help you more.

Do you have the 25-114A or 25-200? I have a 25-200 and will be more than happy to help.

Nevermind, I just noticed you mentioned it in the subject line. I will message you.

Hello Eric,

I have the 25-200. The original pwm controller had no forward reverse switch, but the new one does. Thanks so much.

Thanks So much for the video you sent on the lathe connections Eric. Was able to hook up my older version 25-200 to the new version of the PWM controller. Works well, no issues.
