Along with installing the Ark Shark guard, I made a new box for the motor cover.

I went from this

to this.

Dust collection on this has never been better.

I caulked the joints on the inside and put felt weatherstripping on the door.I have a short section of 4” flex hose attached to the fitting, and I added a tee fitting that includes a 2 and 1/2” fitting that I connect to the Ark Shark.

When I’m not using the tablesaw I connect the hose I’ve been using to the inlet of the Dust Deputy, and disconnect and plug the 2 and 1/2” hose. I have a tapered turned scrap that fits perfectly. It adds a few seconds , but it’s time I’m not cleaning up.

pretty nice setup!

any few seconds saved on cleaning are a few seconds worth saving.
