Be nice to make some tapered legs in addition to squaring some boards quickly. I was gonna make one but then this one just went on sale from $120 to $71 with free shipping.

Anyone have experience with the Dubby Taper Jig? Worth the $71? There’s a coupon code that takes off 40%.

Your call. Call me crazy but I enjoy building jigs. Built this one with stuff I had laying around. It’s also great for squaring up boards as the sandpaper holds the wood firm without even using clamps.

It’s one of those jigs that I only use once or twice a year so I built it.

I have and use the Dubby taper jig. Works great and lasts a long time. For $71.00 I say go for it, I don’t think you will regret it.

That price puts in my ballpark of decisions, buy it and be done or take some hours of shop time and build it, Depends on my schedule. The cost of the two clamps are involved in either decision so I’d opt for buying it and feel no regrets 8^)
